Our Roots
Bwè Kafe means “drink coffee” in Haitian Creole.
Founded in 2013, our journey began with personal ties to Haiti and a belief that coffee can connect people across borders.
That belief continues today through the people we work with, the coffee we roast, and relationships with farmers in Haiti and beyond—built on trust, care, and shared responsibility.
Bwè Kafe is a family-run coffee company focused on good people, not just good coffee.

“…What I loved about this particular location was that it was just around the corner from our Airbnb on Willow Street, and they have a variety of non-dairy options, including almond, oat, macadamia, and pistachio milks. We usually ordered just coffees in the morning… We DID try out their food one day. I ordered the smoked salmon toast, which came with mixed greens, egg salad, and a hefty portion of smoked salmon on top of freshly baked white bread. I thought the food tasted great, and I was happy to have had leftovers for breakfast the next day.
